Freshman Kush Upadiyay became the first DECA student from East Meadow High School to qualify for the ICDC national round.  Kush did so by earning a third-place finish in the topic of principles of finance with an instructional area of customer service. Matt Owens also earned a trip to ICDC by qualifying in the area of accounting.

The district congratulates Kush and Matt while also wishing them the best of luck at the national competition!
