District Facility Updates

Over the past several years, the district has made a number of improvements to its facilities throughout the district. Many of these upgrades were funded through the voter-approved bond proposition in 2017, while others have been included as part of the district’s annual operating budget.

Each year, the district identifies potential capital projects through use of its Building Conditions Survey, which every district throughout the state is required (by state law) to complete every five years. Conducted by the district’s architect and engineers, the goal of the survey is to ensure that the district is properly maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students and staff and assists the district in prioritizing capital improvement needs.

Every year, the district includes a list of capital improvement projects to be completed in the upcoming school year in the annual budget newsletter sent to all district residents – these projects are listed by building and identify the associated costs.
