Two East Meadow High School students were among the Multicultural Council of New York’s honorees during their inaugural Byung Han Lee Scholarship for Humanities award ceremony on March 28.

In honor of Women's History Month, the council awarded The Sun () Goodness Award to three female high school students who are role models to local and/or international communities. First prize was awarded to Maggie Li and honorable mention was awarded to Chelsea Lee. Scholarships were provided to both students courtesy of The Multicultural Council of New York.
