Rainbow-themed outfits and colorful art projects could be seen throughout Parkway Elementary School in East Meadow during Rainbow Day on March 23.

Students and teachers were encouraged to wear their favorite rainbow clothing or wear their favorite color. The celebration marks one of several activities that Parkway held during the school’s Spirit Week, from March 21-25.

Parkway also took part in this rainbow-themed event to recognize Music and Art Makers Month, which acknowledges the importance of music and art education in schools.
