W.T. Clarke’s Robotics teams earn top honors in statewide competition

The East Meadow School District would like to congratulate W.T. Clarke Middle School’s Robotics teams for their incredible showcase in this year's Statewide Robotics Competition.

“The Fantastic 5” made up of Natalie Calabrese, Kyle Krauz, Nirav Nataraj, Arrisa Qu and Mathias Villanueva won first place as they dominated the competition from start to finish while also receiving a perfect score on their presentation. In addition to winning first place, they were the only team to discover and solve the secret game within the tournament.

“The Robo Rams,” which comprised of Amitis Barzehkar, Sara Bhosale, Mohammad Islam, Aiden Khan, Aydin Sheikh, and Hridhaan Shetty, advanced to the semifinals round and finished in third place. They scored an impressive 98 out of 110 on their presentation. Both teams were led by W.T. Clarke Middle School teacher Gregory Greco.

The district commends both teams on a job well done!
