East Meadow’s newest teachers are ready for the 2025-26 school year

The East Meadow School District was excited to welcome its new teaching staff during their annual new teacher orientation program from Aug. 27-28.

Superintendent of Schools Mr. Kenneth Rosner, and central administration staff greeted the new teachers and welcomed them to the district. Additionally, Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Administration Mr. Anthony Russo explained the policies and procedures of the district.

Director of Music and Art Dr. Kelly Nixon and Director of Literacy and Funded Programs Frank Lukasik led a bus tour of the district’s nine buildings. The duo educated the group about each building while sharing the district’s history and pointing out several famous places around East Meadow. Dr. Nixon also handed out gift bags and school swag to all of the new staff members.

The district warmly welcomes their newest staff members and wishes them the best of luck.
