Parkway Elementary School in East Meadow recently concluded Multicultural Week with a vibrant Multicultural Celebration Day.

Held outdoors on the school grounds, the event invited students to “travel” around the world by visiting themed stations representing different continents and cultures. Throughout the day, students experienced a wide range of hands-on activities that highlighted global traditions and customs. Stations included a dancing station, crafting boomerangs, playing cricket, learning how to use chopsticks, and creating festive masks inspired by various cultures.

This culminating event marked the end of a weeklong celebration focused on learning about and honoring different cultures through several activities. The celebration also emphasized Parkway’s commitment to fostering understanding, respect, and inclusion among all students.
