students in classroom

Meadowbrook Elementary School’s first graders in East Meadow recently kicked off their first science unit of the year, Earth’s Systems, with an unforgettable, out-of-this-world experience right in their own gymnasium.

Hosted by That Planetarium Guy, students stepped inside an in-house planetarium that transformed the space into a glowing dome of stars, swirling weather patterns, and dazzling Earth visuals. The mobile planetarium brought science lessons to life through visually stunning projections, engaging storytelling, and interactive activities that encouraged every student to participate. From spotting constellations to following Earth’s changing landscapes, students were eager explorers, asking questions, sharing observations, and soaking up every moment.

If the smiles leaving the gym were any indication, Meadowbrook’s planetarium adventure was a stellar success.
