This past weekend's production of “Hello, Dolly!” at W.T. Clarke High School in East Meadow was a tremendous success, delighting audiences and playing to full houses throughout its run.
From the opening number to the final curtain call, the show was filled with energy, heart, and an impressive level of talent that showcased the strength of Clarke’s performing arts program. The cast delivered outstanding performances, bringing humor, warmth, and personality to every role. The powerful vocals and polished harmonies filled the theater, while the lively choreography added excitement and visual flair to each musical number. Every performer contributed to the joyful spirit of the show, creating a truly engaging experience for audiences of all ages.
Equally impressive was the pit orchestra, whose rich, well-balanced sound elevated the production and brought the classic score to life. Their musicianship added depth and momentum to the performance, perfectly supporting the singers on stage. Behind the scenes, the hardworking stage crew, lighting designers, and sound technicians ensured smooth transitions and a professional-quality production, working seamlessly to keep every performance running flawlessly.
“Hello, Dolly!” was a true team effort, and the dedication of the cast, orchestra, and crew was evident in every moment of the show. The district commends everyone involved for an unforgettable production and a wonderful week of theater at W.T. Clarke High School.
