The students of W.T. Clarke High School’s Music Department recently returned from an unforgettable performance trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, departing on Feb. 26 and returning home on March 1.
Clarke’s Orchestra and Choir proudly represented their school and community during a four-day experience filled with performance, collaboration, and inspiration. While in Florida, students visited Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, as well as Universal Orlando Resort. Beyond enjoying these world-class parks, students immersed themselves in meaningful educational opportunities through the prestigious Disney Imagination Campus workshops. These hands-on sessions allowed students to work with Disney professionals, deepen their understanding of performance techniques, and gain insight into the artistry and precision behind world-renowned entertainment productions.
A true highlight of the trip was the ensemble’s performance at Disney Springs. In front of a large and enthusiastic audience, Clarke’s students delivered a polished and expressive program that showcased not only their musical talent, but also their dedication, discipline, and pride in representing W.T. Clarke High School. Their professionalism and musical excellence reflected the countless hours of rehearsal and preparation leading up to the trip.
This experience extended far beyond the stage. Students strengthened friendships, built confidence, and developed leadership skills while navigating travel and performing in a nationally recognized venue. The trip served as a powerful reminder of the impact that arts education has on shaping well-rounded, motivated, and inspired young adults.
W.T. Clarke High School is incredibly proud of its Orchestra and Choir students for serving as outstanding ambassadors of our school community. Their hard work and commitment to excellence were on full display, making this Disney performance tour a truly memorable and meaningful experience for all involved.
