Students, families and staff gathered at East Meadow High School on May 19 for the school’s annual Senior Departmental Awards and Junior Awards Ceremony, an evening dedicated to recognizing outstanding academic achievement, leadership and commitment throughout the school year.
Held in the school auditorium, the celebration honored students whose hard work and dedication have distinguished them both inside and outside the classroom. Assistant Principal Christina Egan welcomed attendees and praised the honorees for their perseverance, accomplishments and contributions to the school community.
Following the opening remarks, department chairpersons took the stage to present awards across a wide range of disciplines, including world languages, English, social studies, music and art, business and technology, mathematics and science. Each recognition highlighted the exceptional talents and academic excellence demonstrated by East Meadow’s students throughout the year.
The annual ceremony continues to be a cherished tradition at East Meadow High School, celebrating student success and inspiring scholars to continue striving for excellence in all their future endeavors.
