On June 9, the East Meadow School District proudly recognized the outstanding accomplishments of its students during the district’s annual Academic and Athletics Awards Ceremony, held in the auditorium at East Meadow High School.
The event brought together district and building administrators, families, and members of the school community to celebrate students who have distinguished themselves through academic achievement, athletic success, leadership, extracurricular involvement, and community service.
The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dave Spinnato, who commended students for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Administrators from across the district’s nine schools then presented certificates, medals, and special awards to deserving scholars in recognition of their achievements throughout the school year.
As part of the athletic awards presentation, Director of Physical Education, Health & Athletics Jason Supple recognized high school student-athletes who earned Superintendent Scholar Athlete Awards as well as All-County honors during the spring season, highlighting their accomplishments both in the classroom and in competition.
The district commends all of this year’s honorees and applauds their hard work, determination, and contributions to their schools and community. Their achievements serve as a testament to the dedication and excellence that define East Meadow’s students.
