W.T. Clarke High School in the East Meadow School District celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2026 during its annual Senior Scholarship Ceremony on June 8 in the school auditorium.
Hosted by Principal Timothy Voels, the ceremony recognized graduating seniors for their academic excellence, leadership, service, and dedication to the Clarke community. Principal Voels, who is retiring at the end of the school year, noted how honored he was to recognize such an impressive class of students as he helped lead one of his final school celebrations at Clarke. Throughout the evening, students were presented with a variety of scholarships and awards made possible through the generosity of local organizations, community members, and educational partners.
The annual tradition serves as a meaningful opportunity to honor the hard work and perseverance that students have demonstrated throughout their high school careers. Family members, faculty, and supporters gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the scholarship recipients as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their educational and professional journeys.
