The W.T. Clarke High School Marching Band proudly represented the East Meadow School District at the Deer Park Columbus Day Parade and the New York City Columbus Day Parade, showcasing the talent, dedication, and school spirit of its student musicians and color guard members.
Participating in both parades provided students with the opportunity to perform for large audiences while celebrating Italian-American heritage and contributing to two longstanding community traditions. The band’s participation reflected the countless hours of preparation, rehearsal, and teamwork required to deliver a successful marching performance.
The ensemble is led by Director Michelle Cozzi, with Assistant Directors Vincent Tavernese and Mark Viavattine, and Color Guard Director Alexa Konya. Together, the instructional team supports the musical development, performance skills, and commitment of the students who represent W.T. Clarke High School at these special events.
The East Meadow School District congratulates the W.T. Clarke High School Marching Band, its directors, and all those who support the program for their outstanding representation of the school and community. Their hard work and dedication continue to demonstrate the value of music education, collaboration, and school pride.
