Preschool Special Education Program
The Preschool Special Education Program provides services to children who are 3 to 5 years old with developmental delays and/or educational needs. Eligibility is based on the results of multidisciplinary evaluations, which are at no cost to the family. The Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) determines eligibility, recommends appropriate special education and/or related services and creates an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each eligible child.

For children who will be 4 years of age on or before December 1, 2024.
Registration will take place from January 2, 2024 through March 8, 2024
*Please note that enrollment will be limited, pending vendor availability. Registration does not guarantee a placement in the Pre-K program. If more students register than there are seats available, a lottery will be held at the Salisbury School on March 20, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.

2024-2025 School Year Registrations for K-12 Public and Private Education Services
Kindergarten
Kindergarten is for children who will turn 5 on or before December 1, 2024.
If your child currently attends the East Meadow Preschool program, you do not need to reregister for the kindergarten program. Your child will automatically be registered for kindergarten for the 24-25 school year.
Please note, if your child is receiving Special Education Services (CPSE) through the East Meadow School District, you MUST REREGISTER your child for Kindergarten.
