
STEM Lab Fun: As Aerospace engineers, children designed and tested a lunar lander that would protect two astronauts to safely touchdown on the moon’s surface. The astronauts were in a cup on top with no lid, and could not pop or jump out. Astronauts made out of model magic.




So much fun with our Kindergarten and Pre-K friends at Bingo tonight. Thank you to the PTA for organizing this fun and exciting night at Bowling Green.

Amazing day of music with our fabulous Winter Concerts! In school and tonight at Clarke, the students put on an amazing show! Thank you to the most incredible music teachers for their hard work and dedication and to our talented musicians. Well done!






This past Friday, the K-Kids of Bowling Green hosted this year’s Caroling Event! Kiwanis members from all over EMSD came to raise money for Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center. They raised over $1000! 🎄🎁❄️









Grade 2 and 3 students enjoyed a Stem Mad Science assembly today! This program covers a combination of hands on activities including a slime bar, dry ice , magnets and static electricity. Thank you to our PTA for providing this engaging assembly.

BG shines bright! Our students and staff participated in a school-wide fundraiser to support families in our Bowling Green Community that are in need. We are so proud to be making such a difference.




Fabulous evening at NMEA Honor Your Administrator Dinner at The Heritage Club. East Meadow was strong in attendance showing how much we all value our music programs. It was an honor to be there to recognize the Farmingdale Music department and staff as well.


Halloween was a success at Bowling Green. The students loved marching in our parade and enjoyed fun, Fall activities in their classrooms. We saw some amazing costumes!











Trunk or Treat was a blast! The fifth grade students had so much fun visiting all the decorated cars, dancing to music and getting candy!!! Thank you to our fabulous PTA for planning and organizing this "spooktacular" event!!!



The REACH students were joined by some of their “buddies” to participate in some fun Fall activities, crafts and treats!





BG kicks off #DigCitWeek by representing our favorite sport to celebrate getting outside and moving!





Yogi Beans was here today to address our Red Ribbon theme of “Be Kind to Your Mind." The body-mind-heart tools of yoga and mindfulness are inherently noncompetitive and highly personal. Children experienced techniques that can offer proven methods of managing physical, mental and emotional stress and aid in better study habits, discipline and concentration.





Hear ye, hear ye! Welcome to the Middle Ages! Bowling Green's fourth grade teachers are preparing to begin their next unit in CKLA. Students will be learning about the social hierarchy and what life was like during the Middle Ages.

The Board of Education wishes to inform you that tomorrow evening, April 19th, at the Board of Education meeting, the Board will be appointing and introducing the new superintendent of schools who will begin service to the community on September 1 of this year. Our new superintendent will be present at the meeting and will be saying a few words.
