East Meadow students earn numerous scholarships in music

Music students throughout the East Meadow School District received scholarships toward summer music study from the Nassau Music Educators Association and the Long Island String Festival Association.  

The following students received scholarships from the NMEA:

Addititionally, Woodland Middle School student Sandya Rampartap received a scholarship from LISFA. Hundreds of students across Nassau County applied for summer music scholarships, and East Meadow’s students are thankful of the opportunity to improve upon their performance skills during the summer. The district’s student musicians look forward to boosting their own playing and musicianship in their ensembles in the future.
