The senior football players, showed their deep appreciation for faculty members that have been extremely influential in their overall high school experience and in their lives as a whole. The team explained:
“As part of our homecoming tradition, each player chooses a faculty member who has made a real difference in our lives. Someone who believed in us, challenged us, and supported us on and off the field. We would like to honor these faculty members by giving them our game jersey for them to wear to school on Friday and to pep rally. We want to express gratitude to the faculty members for making such an impact on our lives.”
Assistant Principal Egan said; "It was an absolute honor to watch these students express their appreciation to these faculty members in front of colleagues and students. It was an emotional testament to the amazing work the faculty is doing on a daily basis. Thank you for all that you do and the impact that you have on the students entrusted to our care. Please never underestimate the influence you have on these young people."
