Safe Halloween for trick-or-treaters at East Meadow High School

Trick-or-treaters from the East Meadow community enjoyed a spook-tacular afternoon during the district’s annual Safe Halloween event, held near the football field at East Meadow High School on Oct. 28.

The celebration brought together numerous varsity sports teams, school organizations, and high school clubs, all volunteering their time to create a festive and safe Halloween experience for local children. Students dressed in costume, decorated themed tables, and handed out candy to eager young trick-or-treaters.

Hundreds of children attended the event, roaming the field in costumes inspired by superheroes, anime characters, movie and book favorites, and classic Halloween creatures. Each table featured a unique theme, including comic book heroes, spooky shows and films, wizards, skeletons, sports teams, and fairies.

In addition to collecting sweet treats, children participated in games and interactive activities at each table, making the day enjoyable for both young visitors and the high school volunteers. The event once again proved to be a fun and safe way for the community to celebrate Halloween together.
