East Meadow High School Business Department is off to a running start with many students already getting certified in Microsoft Office. A Microsoft certification is an industry-recognized credential that validates your skills and expertise in Microsoft technologies by passing one or more exams. These certifications are often role-based and cover areas like cloud computing, software development, and data analytics, with levels ranging from fundamental to expert. They serve as a way to showcase technical proficiency to employers and are available for a wide range of products and solutions. Two of Mr. Joseph’s Multimedia-Microsoft Certification students had perfect exams, both scoring 1000 in Microsoft Word. We are all very proud of seniors William Duhs and Nicholas Guarneri, they will both be recognized by New York State and hopefully compete in the 2026 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) National Championship in  Nashville, Tennessee.
