The East Meadow Trial Law Class visits the Nassau County Criminal Court House in Mineola.


This weekend, the East Meadow High School Chamber Choir traveled to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall as part of Manhattan Concert Productions' Octavo Series under the direction of Dr. Lynda Hasseler. The EMHS Chamber Choir was one of ten choirs that were selected from across the country to perform in the festival. The students had an amazing weekend of singing and performing in one of the world's most famous concert halls. It was an experience that they will always remember.


The Boys Varsity Lacrosse team improved their record to 6 wins on the season with a win over Freeport yesterday. Bryan Tauber led the team with 5 goals, Vincent Ronzo, and Noah garner added two goals each. Thomas primrose added a goal as well. Marcello Romano had an impressive 4 assists and Jack Caracciola had 2 assists as well. The boys look to continue their success Thursday Home against Baldwin.
The Girls Varsity Softball Team beat Oceanside yesterday 1-0 in a 9-inning thrilling game. With two outs in the top of the 9th inning, Gianna Ventura singled down the right field line driving in Julia Parise for the go ahead run. On the mound, Julia Parise pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only four hits while striking out four. Julia also added three hits on the day. Defensively, great plays were made by Melia Campbell, Erin Schwartz and Ari Maniscalco. Great job girls!
This past February, East Meadow HS Math League Team members Tanjeed Alam, Steven Cheng, Krzysztof Brachowski, Andrew Cheng, and Chris Dagoon had the honor of being selected to be a part of Nassau County’s All-Star team! Since then, these students have attended weekly night practices at Syosset High School to prepare for NYSML competition. During the second weekend in April, they joined forces with other teams from Nassau County including Jericho, Great Neck South, and Syosset to represent Nassau County as they traveled upstate to Owego, NY to face off against the best mathematics students in the State! Our EM students faced many math hurdles, including individual exams, team exams, and relay-challenges, and left with lots of great experiences and new friends. Please wish them luck as the move on to the National Competition at Penn State University on Saturday, June 1st!

Wesley Taylor from the original Addams Family cast led a workshop with the cast of The Addams Family today! Wesley was in the original cast of The Addams Family, SpongeBob on Broadway, and is most recently in Hulu's series, "Only Murders in the Building."
The cast members will be singing sections of their songs from the show for Wesley to give feedback and suggestions!


Members of the East Meadow High School National Honor Society participated in an egg hunt in the school’s courtyard. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. The winning team found 64 eggs and was awarded “eggstra ordinary” trophies.





The Virtual Enterprise class is representing East Meadow High School in New York city at the Jacob Javits Center for the International Trade show.

Big game for East Meadow Boys Lacrosse winning 15-4 against Elmont at home yesterday. The team was lead by Jack Caracciola with 5 goals and 1 assist, Tom Primrose 3 goals and 1 assist, and Bryan Tauber 3 goals and 1 assist. Jackson Reger had 10 saves and Vin Ronzo went 14 out of 18 on faceoffs. Defensemen Nick Longardino on a full field clear had an awesome assist to Vin Ronzo in the 4th quarter.
East Meadow jets win against Freeport!!! Brooke Vislocky led the jets with 5 goals and 1 assist! Kayla Lederer had 3 goals and 3 assists! Kate Barnett and Jaelyn Zabala contributed 2 goals each. Jessica Stump had 2 goals and 1 assist. Crystal Cruz had 1 goal and Izzie Stea had 1 goal. Skylar Egan had 2 assists. In the goal, Dynastee Ramos had 9 saves and Alissa Mili had 2!! The final score was 16-6. Congrats on a great win girls!




East Meadow Jazz students visit to the Louis Armstrong Museum in Corona Queens today.


This weekend some of our key club members volunteered with East Meadow Kiwanis for a food drive to help our local families in need.

295 students from the EMHS Music Department attended a matinee of the broadway musical, Hamilton. Students first boarded the Spirit of New York for a DJ Brunch and a tour of the Hudson River. It was truly a memorable experience for all!

The National Art Honor Society participated in the annual Long Island‘s Best Competition. Two of EMHS students were winners. Congratulations to Veronica Vogel and Emily Marckesano. Their work will be on display at the Heckscher Museum of Art through early May

The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team won 12-11 in DOUBLE OVERTIME! Halle Lara had the winning goal with 1 minute to go! Brooke Vislocky led the Jets with 5 goals & 4 assists!!! Halle Lara right behind her with 4 goals 1 assist, Jaelyn Zabala with 2 goals 2 assists, Kayla Lederer also had a goal! Izzie Levin made a huge impact on the field and had an assist. Jessy Stump had 5 draw controls & Kate Barnett had 4 draw controls! Dynastee Ramos had 5 saves to help with the Win.


East Meadow High School proudly hosted its spring season "Meet the Coaches" Night. Alex Rivas, a distinguished alumni from the class of 2008, attended the event as a keynote speaker, offering parents insight into nurturing their student-athletes' success in today's world. Additionally, four outstanding seniors shared their personal stories, each highlighting the critical role their parents played in their achievements. Their stories not only served as a testament to the positive impact of parental involvement, but also as an inspiration for all in attendance.
