George McVey Elementary School in East Meadow recently held a festive Culture Fair to celebrate numerous cultures throughout the school community.
During the schoolwide celebration, students, parents and teachers dressed in festive clothing and they held presentations on their families’ cultures. From video slideshows to decorative posters, the presenters were proud to share the history of their heritage. Additionally, many of the presenters brought traditional foods and popular items from their native countries.
