Friday, March 13, 2026 was our Pie Day celebration!
McVey’s Pie Day Celebration let kids from different grades buy raffles and choose the teachers who they wanted to see get pied. This event was run by the 5th Grade Committee, which let the fifth graders have a front row seat to all the fun! The rest of the school watched it online, which was just as fun. Many teachers volunteered to get pied in the face and even wore a special suit provided by the PTA so they would not get dirty.
The money raised will help support special 5th grade activities and end-of-year events, making their final year at McVey even more memorable. What a fun way to spend a Friday at McVey, filled with laughter, school spirit, and Mighty Mind fun!
