Recently, McVey students had the opportunity to participate in an exciting Touch-A-Truck event. Students from all grade levels went outside to explore a variety of vehicles used by community helpers. They got to see sanitation trucks, electric utility vehicles, police cars, fire trucks, a SWAT vehicle, and even a Coast Guard boat. Students also enjoyed seeing police horses and learning about the important jobs these vehicles, boats, and animals help perform every day. It was a fun and educational experience that gave students a closer look at the many people who help keep our community safe and running smoothly.
