On June 25, eighth graders at Woodland Middle School in East Meadow celebrated three years of hard work during their moving-up ceremony at the school’s auditorium.
Members of the Board of Education and administration were on hand to applaud this milestone in the students’ academic career. Principal Kristi Detor addressed the students with words of encouragement.
Throughout the ceremony, Ms. Detor recognized students with several academic awards. The district looks forward to the journeys of these students and wishes them luck and success at East Meadow High School.
