Jahane Abidi placed 3rd at the National History Day competition at Hofstra University on March 22 for her documentary on Breaking the Bars: Voices That Could Not Be Silenced. She also won an award for Outstanding Senior Entry on a Historic Site.
Mrs. Kelly's Virtual Enterprise class ( Blendup) particpated in the 3rd Annual VE Trade Show at Lynborook HS last week. They came away with Top Honors in Imapct Marketing and Social Media Categories. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Alex Frank and his Section VIII Intersectional Relay members on an All-State and All-Federation finish at the NYSPHSAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday! The team finished 5th in the State and 7th overall in the Federation. Alex split 22.41 for his 200m leg which was the 3rd fastest 200m split out everyone else's 200m leg in the race.

The Clarke DECA club came away with 46 Top 10 Medals. In addition, 13 students qualified for DECA ICDC National honors. They will be headed to Atlanta to compete in their respective categories at the end of April. Congratulations to all who competed!

Students were treated to the upcoming musical production of Hello, Dolly! preview performances .Previews featured a selection of songs from the musical, accompanied by the live orchestra, to give our students and staff a taste of the full shows that will take place on February 6-7.

Five boys worked hard to achieve goals and reach milestones individually and as a team, but more than that, the love, bond, and brotherhood between the Clarke Rams and the coaches were truly special.

Starting this month, on Wednesday, December 17th, during the 3rd and 4th periods, certified therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers will visit our building to offer a calm, supportive presence. Engaging with therapy dogs has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, which can inspire staff to participate or support this initiative.
