March is Music in Our Schools Month, a time to celebrate the importance of music education and the positive impact it has on students. Throughout the month, students participated in performances, rehearsals, and activities that highlight their musical talents and the value of arts education.

Ms. Frankel's Science Research class competed in the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair today. They all did a great job and represented Clarke Middle School with pride. The following three groups won awards -
1st Place: Sophia Chen, Nikki Li, & Ilaria Papatheodorou - Project Title "The Effect of Natural Barrier Patterns on Soil Erosion of Cropland"
2nd Place: Ajooni Chandhok, Jeanamarie Otero, & Rosemary Palma - Project Title "The Effect of seawall Shape on Tsunami Flooding"
3rd Place: Shreya Balaji, Elizabeth Eze, & Ireoluwatomi Adisa - Project Title "The Effect of Building Structure Shape on the Damage from high Wind Speed"

Clarke Middle School's 8th grade students presented their National History Day projects for district judging last month.
