Ms. Luciano’s Child Development class finished reading with and teaching students across four elementary schools in the district. They did a wonderful job and showed so much growth along the way— we are all so proud of all they’ve accomplished!

Conference Champions. The Boys’ Track Squad earned wins over MacArthur, New Hyde Park, and Jericho to go UNDEFEATED at 13-0 and Conference Team Champions for back-to-back outdoor seasons! Congratulations!!!

Annabel Ye continues to excel, at the awards ceremony at ICDC she was awarded top 10 for Innovation Business Plan. This is an amazing achievement at the National DECA competition in Atlanta Georgia. We are all so proud of you Annabel. Congrats!!!

The boys' lacrosse team had a nice win against Island trees yesterday. The star of the game was goalie Jack Alvy with 17 saves for the Jets. Anthony Steinmark led the Jets with 2 goals. Noah Garner and Grady Blind both had a goal and assist each. Thomas Primrose and Justin Primrose both had a goal each. Bradley Lukasik, Steven Ricotta, Mike Petitto and Richard Morreale all had an assist for the Jets. Defense was played excellent by Steve ricotta, Ben Barbara and Antonio Riberio. The team looks to continue their success against Herricks on Saturday.
The girls JV badminton team improved to 6 wins and no losses on the season with a 6-1 victory over Long Beach. Vivian Jiang and Jessica Philipose continued their winning ways in singles play. In doubles play Amelie Cao, Novia Zhang, Erika Qu, Elle Fong, Sarah George, Abby Gan, Rebecca Simon, and Ashley Zheng all had dominant performances in the win. Keep up the good work girls!
Students from Clarke and EMHS attend the DECA National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. These students qualified by placing in the New York State DECA competition earlier this year. Good luck to all our students.

JV Tennis won their match against Long Beach on Friday. Lucas Pereira and James Urso won their match at 1st doubles 6-1. Kehan Chen and Reyansh Kulkarni won their match at 2nd doubles 6-0. Rogan Weiser and Elston Cheng won their match at 3rd Doubles 6-0. Matthew Wardjono and Andrew Notebaert won their match at 4th Doubles 6-1.
The EM Varsity Jets pulled off and exciting 11-9 come back win over Carey on Friday. After falling behind 6-2, the Jets rallied in the 7th inning taking the lead with key hits from Skye Wallace, Gianna Ventura, Ariana Rosa and Gabriella Shepherd. Rosa lead the offense going 3 for 5. Ventura and Rosa each drove in three runs. Coffey, Smith, Shepherd and Wallace also had multiple hits totaling in 16 for the day. Shepderd earned the win in the circle, striking 6 over 7 innings as the Jets completed the comeback victory.
Following LOC8’s Top 25 national finish at the Virtual Enterprise Youth Business Summit, our teams, LOC8 and All Around the World, participated in the International Trade Show at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC.
Throughout the day, our companies engaged with other teams, exchanged insights, and further developed our understanding of real-world entrepreneurship.
Our CEO’s, Evalia Levin and Keerat Minhas, also competed in the Individual Sales Pitch Competition, representing our companies with professionalism and confidence.
Overall, the Youth Business Summit was a valuable and memorable experience.

The EMHS Boys’ Track Squad moves to 10-0 on the season, surviving the Battle of the Undefeated with Calhoun! We control our own destiny for the Conference Championship, but we will have Calhoun again in the Division Championship and they will be ready. Good luck boys, keep up the good work.

EMHS presents the annual Multicultural show. Congratulations to all the participants including several faculty and administrators. The show was awesome and the entire school enjoyed being a part of the event.



East Meadow's Virtual Enterprise team, LOC8, went to the National Business Plan Competition at the Javits Center in NYC and placed Top 25 in the country. This is the 1st time EMUFSD has ever had a team compete at this level. Congratulations to Evalia Levin (CEO), Amber Chan (COO), Olivia Barnwell (CTO), Laila Miranda (CMO), and Eli Gilkey (Banking Manager).
