Congratulations to the 2026 East Meadow Girls Indoor Track team for a runner up finish in the County Championships last night. Awesome job done by Senior Zaria Hall who took home 3 titles in 3 events. Junior Emily Zaradich also had a huge night becoming two time All County. Next week the girls will compete in the State Qualifying meet. Good luck ladies.

The Girls 4x800 Relay of Marcheline Simbulan, Bella Estrella, Ashley Zheng, and Emily Zaradich (in her THIRD event of the night) claimed and All-County honors!
For the 4th consecutive season, Zaria Hall pulled off the Distance Triple with victories in the 3000m (10:24.3), 1000m (3:00.7), and 1500m (5:02.9) earning 30 individual points! Zaria rounds out her indoor championship career with her 4th Nassau County Championship in the 1000m, winning it as a 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grader!
Tremendous, and very hard earned, moment in the 1500m Race Walk as Natalie Rivera and Emily Zheng earned their first All-County honors and spots on the EM Wall of Fame!
Abigail Joseph earned her first individual Nassau County Championship via winning a JUMP OFF in the high jump!

They did it again! Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams on the conference championship win last night! The girls mark their 5th conference victory in a row and the boys won 12 of the last 14 years. The program recorded 14 individual conference champions last night. They head back to St. Anthony's on Tuesday in the hunt for the county title! Great Job Jets!

East Meadow High School Sport Marketing students enjoyed spending the day in the Bronx, at the house that Ruth build. Students toured the inside and outside of the stadium and had lunch at the Hard Rock. A good time was had by all.

70 Virtual Enterprise companies from various schools in the New York/ New England area competed on the first day of the two-day event. The regional event took place at LIU Post and is the precursor to the international finals held at the Javits Center in April. Our two EMHS companies, All Around The World and LOC8, both took home Gold... We won 2 of the 3 Gold awards given out for Best Booth Design. Congratulations to both of our VE classes!

The EMHS girls basketball team had a great night against Westbury winning 64-50. Every Lady Jet contributed in the scoring and the offense was lead by Gulianna D'Alessandro who hit two 3's... Kayla Lederer, Emily Zaradich, and Allie Barnwell all were in double digits. Angelina Cronin is getting close to returning from her injury, but still leads the team in 108.3 claps per game. The team is now 8-3. Keep it rolling ladies.

The EMHS Indoor Track team is absolutely crushing it. Over the weekend over 100 athletes competed at the Armory in Manhattan. East Meadow had many champions and students with personal bests... The team was lead by Niko Sofianos, Jack Matthews, Wadley Jean Baptiste, and Waking Jean Baptiste who ran an 8:12 4x800 which is currently #1 in the County and #2 in the State. Emily Zaradich medaled twice winning the 1000 meter race and taking 3rd in the long jump. The boys long jumpers all did awesome with Ayden Quebleen and Anthony Torres leading the way. The girls 4x400 team, composed of Marla Hogarth-Pierre, Zoe Qu, Noelle McGarry, and Joslin Shenouda also placed 2nd overall with a time of 4:21.78, which places them 4th in the county.

The East Meadow Girls Basketball team improved there record to 6-3 last night beating Oceanside in dominating fashion. The Jets played an aggressive style of defense turning it into instant offence. East Meadow jumped out to an early lead by pressing, and were up by 30 points in the 1st quarter. Kayla Lederer continues to excel and is ranked 4th in the County with 18.5 points per game. Gulianna D'Alessandro, Lila Doyle, Kate Barnett, and Emily Zaradich all played awesome games contributing to the victory.

Congrats to the East Meadow Girls Basketball team who won the 40th annual Barbara Hoffman Invitational last night. The team beat Manhasset 70-61 in a great game. The team was lead by Senior Captain Kayla Lederer (23 points) and Sophomore Allie Barnwell (16 points) who were both awarded All Tournament. Emily Zaradich added 20 rebounds playing awesome in the paint. Great job ladies...

Over the weekend the EMHS Girls Varsity Basketball team beat New Hyde Park 60-54 in the semi finals of the Barbara Hoffman Invitational. The team was lead by sophomore Allison Barnwell with 21 points and Kayla Lederer with 16. Angela Cronin was the best supporter on the sidelines. The girls will play Manhasset in the finals tonight. The boys bowling team steamrolled Westbury yesterday 11-0. The Jets were on all cylinders yesterday led by Nate Rose who bowled and impressive 696 series with a 263 in game 1 and 244 in game 3. Angelo Dungca bowled a 635 series with a 235 in game 1 and 207 in game 3. Trey Enriquez bowled a 612 series with a 239 in game 2 and 205 in game 3. Tyler Castle bowled a 604 series with a game 2 210 and game 3 204. Ryan Collins bowled a 216 in game 3 and Bobby McGowan bowled a 202 in game 202. Congrats to the Jets.

Congrats to the Lady Jets on their winning streak. The EMHS Girls Basketball team beat Valley Stream yesterday 59-34. Kayla Lederer is leading the team in scoring with 18.6 points per game and is amongst the top scorers in the conference. Kayla's season high came against Massapequa when she dropped 23. Kayla will be attending University of South Carolina next year.

The boys' bowling team swept Hicksville yesterday 11-0. Ryan Collins and Nate Rose led the Jets - Collins bowled a 626 series with a 213 in game 1 and a 222 in game 2. Rose bowled a 603 series with a 208 in game 2 and a 214 in game 3. Tyler Castle also bowled a 215 in game 1. The Jets take on Westbury next.

The Boys Varsity Basketball team got their first win of the season last night defeating Herricks 75 to 61...Caleb Coleman led the Jets with 23 points, Christian Ekwonye added 16 points and 12 rebounds while Bryant Sewell scored 10 points...The Jets got to off a strong start by their first 9 points being scored by Harry Haber...The Jets next game here at East Meadow this Thursday against Valley Stream Central at 5PM...Come down and support your Jets!!!!
