The baseball team defeated Jericho yesterday 7-4. Spencer Kemler pitched a complete game to earn the win. DJ Dowling was 2 for 4 with 2rbi’s and a run scored. The jets take on Jericho at home today on their senior day.
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team had another conference win over Glen Cove 9-6. Jessica Stump led the Jets with 3 goals, Kayla Lederer had 2 goals, 1 assist and 6 ground balls, Jaelyn Zabala had 2 goals, Zoe Orlando had 1 goal and 3 ground balls, Crystal Cruz had 1 goal and 3 ground balls, Ariana Facenda had 3 ground balls and 2 draw controls, Maddy Reger had 1 assist, Kate Barnett had 1 assist and a game high of 8 ground balls. Goalie Alissa Mili had 9 saves to keep the team in the game. The JV Girls Lacrosse team had a great team win 12-5 over Glen Cove. Olivia Castle led the team with 4 goals & 3 draw controls, Vanessa Tomack 3 goals & 1 draw control, Brianna Soldner 1 goal & 1 draw control, and Lainie Lenz had 3 goals, Addison Hurwitz had 1 assist, and Christine Lee had 3 big saves!! Great job Jets!
Mrs. Luciano's NY NY class took a field trip to the 9/11 reflecting pools and lower Manhattan today.
The last New Student Party of the year was held on April 23rd and it was a blast! From an East Meadow trivia Kahoot battle to free Jersey Mike’s subs for our winners, the real win was the friendships formed and the connections made. We’re so glad this amazing group of new Jets landed at our school- your energy and spirit are already making waves. Welcome to the family!
The EM Jets Baseball team defeated Bethpage yesterday 11-1. Joe Lanza, Darin Lake, and Ryan Lauth each had two hits in the win. Lanza also had 2 runs scored and 2 rbi's. Lake also had one rbi and 2 runs scored and Lauth had 3 rbi's and 1 run scored. Owen Smith pitched 6 innings allowing only 1 run to earn the win. The Jets move on to Jericho next week.
The boys varsity tennis team defeated Carle Place yesterday 7-0 led by a 6-1 / 6-0 victory in first singles by senior Ethan Yohannan. Additional wins by second singles Dennis Calu and third singles Maxton Shafran added to the sweep of the Carle Place frogs, giving the Jets wins in 3 of their last four matches!!

Mr. Kasin and Mrs. Faughnan's Trial Law class visited the Nassau County Criminal Courts. The students were able
to get involved with an actual court case.
Congratulations to the Virtual Enterprise Class and their company, "Reflect". The team attended the annual Youth Business Summit held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. This dynamic two-day event brings together 4,500 students from high schools across the U.S. and around the world to compete. This year, the East Meadow High School V.E. Class took SILVER in the Sales Pitch competition led by our C.E.O. Manny Martinez and assisted by the C.M.O. Jayson Costabile.
Reflect, also achieved the highest possible honors of "TOP 10%" in the National E-Commerce Website Competition. Our Design Director, Hana Tran and the webmaster Dylan Blanco achieved a score of 4.83 out of 5.

The baseball team finished the sweep by beating Levittown 3-0 yesterday. The team was lead by 5 shut outings from Owen Smith and a big blast to left center by Joe Lanza. It might be cold out, but the Jets are on fire.
East Meadow Jets Baseball defeated Division yesterday by a score of 15-12. Eric Garcia, Trevor Smith, and Chris Amadeo each had 3 hits in the slugfest. Garcia also had 3 runs and a stolen base. Trevor had 4 rbi's, and Amadeo had 2 runs, 2rbi, and a stolen base. Owen Smith and Darin Lake each had 2 hits - Owen had a double 3 rbi's and 2 runs scored. Lake had 4 rbi's, a run scored and a great defensive play. The Jets have scored a total of 33 runs over the past 11 innings. The Jets take on Division today at 5pm at Division.

Garcia had a double, triple , and 3 walks with 2 rbi's and a run scored. Trevor Smith had 4 rbi's and 3 runs scored. Lanza's 2 hits included a double with 2 rbi's and 2 walks with a run scored. Tommy Stein also chipped in with a triple and 3 rbi's. Spencer Kemler grinded through the tough conditions to pick up the win through 4 innings. Kyle Francis finished the game out holding Division down and pitching the last 2 innings. The Jets take on Division today at Division.

Held every March, Music in Our Schools Month is a national celebration that recognizes the vital role music education plays in students’ lives. Youth Art Month is a nationwide observance that emphasizes the importance of visual arts education for all students.
From morning melodies to gallery showcases, March was a shining example of the East Meadow School District’s commitment to the arts. Through Music in Our Schools Month and Youth Art Month, students not only honed their craft but also shared their passion and talent with the entire community.

The Jets Varsity Baseball team defeated the Kellenberg Firebirds yesterday by a score of 8-6. Tommy Stein went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 rbi's . DJ Dowling went 2 for 4 with a double and 1 rbi. Owen Smith walked 4 times and scored 3 runs. Smith also came in to pitch 2 and 2/3 innings of relief for the win. Matt Esslinger pitched the last inning of relief for the save. Eric Garcia went 1 for 3 with an rbi and 2 runs scored and also made a highlight video catch in left center field and one of the best defensive plays made at East Meadow in the past 10 years, saving two runs from scoring. The Jets take on Bellmore JFK on Saturday 10am at home.

The East Meadow Baseball Team won its first two games of the season. On Monday the Jets defeated Mepham 13-5. Despite falling behind by five runs in the first inning, the Jets rallied back in the bottom of the first to put up 8 runs. They then kept tacking on runs to win by a score of 13-5. The Jets were led by Seniors Joe Lanza, Owen Smith, and Eric Garcia who each had two hits. Ryan Jacobs also chipped in going 1 for 2 with 3 RBIs. Alec Coelho pitched 5 innings for the win. Yesterday the Jets won a walk off fielders choice by Darren Lake who scored Trevor Smith for the 7-6 win. Spencer Kemler pitched a competitive 4 1/3 innings and Matt Esslinger pitched the final 1 and 2/3 innings for the win. Lake also had 2 hits and 3 rbis on the day. DJ Dowling had 2 hits and 1 RBI. Ryan Jacobs tied the game up in the 5th inning with a 2 RBI single. The Jets take on Kellenberg on Thursday afternoon at home.
The Girls Varsity softball team won their first game on Friday by a score of 16 to 2. Gabi Shepherd pitched a complete game striking out 5 batters and allowing only 2 runs. At the plate, Gabi had two hits, including a 2-Run Homerun. Ali Barnwell was 4-4 with 2 RBI’s, while Katelyn Coffey was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, Hailey Lipack was 2 for 3 with 4 RBI’s and Ashley Lipack was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s. Great job girls!
The Boys Varsity Lacrosse team opened up their season with a 16-2 victory over Uniondale yesterday. Excellent defense was played by Marcus Diaz, Ben Barbara, Ryan Michel, Antonio Riberio and Shaun Reilly who also had an assist. Thomas Primrose led the Jets with 5 goals while Robert O'Brien added 4 goals. Bryan Tauber, Vincent Ronzo, Dylan Aguire all had 2 goals each. Julian Pulido also had a goal for the Jets. Jackson Reger played great in net only letting up 1 goal and Tim O'Sullivan added 4 assists for the Jets
