
We are so proud of the JV cheerleading team who despite an injury in the warmup room came out on top with a first-place win at their first competition of the winter season. Can't wait to see what else this team can do!



The boys bowling team defeated the Hicksville comets yesterday 11-0. Ethan frank led the Jets with a tremendous 713 series - bowling games of 269 and 258. Angelo Dungca continued his excellent play by bowling a 648 series with games of 210, 220, and 218. Erik rich continued his all-county performance ways by bowling a 616 series with games of 204 and 213. Trey Enriquez contributed with a 211 in game 3.

The boys Bowling team defeated the Clarke Rams yesterday 6-5 in a closely contested match. Angelo Duncga led the Jets with a 674 series and games of 266 and 224. Erik Rich continued his All-County play with a 670 series and games of 288 and 233. Andrew Duncga was a key factor with a 608 series and games of 204 and 211. Congratulations to the Jets! Their next match is Thursday against the Hicksville Comets.

The boys’ varsity bowling team opened the season with a dominant win over Uniondale 11-0. Sophomore Nate Rose led the jets with a 747 series with games of 280, 257, and 210. Erik Rich maintained his all-county form with a 669 series and games of 225,230, and 214. Tyler Castle also had a strong day bowling a 632 series with games of 225,205, and 202. Ethan Frances also contributed with a 625 series with games of 208 and 225. Angelo Dungca bowled a 200 and 234. And Andrew Dungca bowled a 202 and 204. Congratulations to the Jets!!!

Several students from the Virtual Enterprise class represented EMHS at the leadership conference at LIU. Students engaged with notable college professors, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs. Breakout sessions provided the opportunity to collaborate and network with other VE student leaders in firms from across the NY State Region.
Representing East Meadow was Dylan Blanco (CIO), Jayson Costabile (CMO), Ryan Donahue (COO), Joseph Lanza (CHRO), and Thomas Stein (CFO).






Ms. Luciano's NY NY class had a great experience touring Citi Field as they connected the Mets' National League history to the New York metropolitan area. The tour of the ballpark gave the students a unique perspective on the team’s legacy, not only through its physical space—like the Jackie Robinson Rotunda, named in honor of Robinson’s impact on baseball and the Mets’ role in New York’s baseball history—but also through the Mets' connection to the city and its diverse fan base.


The East Meadow High School Jets Marching Band performed in Manhattan on Monday during the NYC Veterans Day Parade to celebrate and honor those that have fought and sacrificed for our country. The band proudly marched up Fifth Avenue from Madison Square Park to 48th Street performing for more than 20,000 spectators.







EMHS hospitality and marketing classes took a trip to the Marriott Hotel in Uniondale. They spoke with director of marketing and sales, did a job shadow and had lunch.


The Psychology in Our Lives class challenged themselves at Adventure Park. They communicated as a team while pushing their mental strength.


The East Meadow Varsity Cheerleading team put out a great routine at the County Championship at Farmingdale State College Sunday evening. Although they didn't win, they had an awesome season, and it was an impressive accomplishment just to make it to the championship! They will compete for a bid to the National Championship in Walt Disney World on December 15th. Congrats on a great season, and good luck for the winter season


Congratulations to the varsity field hockey team who ended victoriously in overtime 1-0 during their semi-final playoff match up against Port Washington on Saturday! Winning goal scored by #11, Gianna Ventura! A true performance by the whole team — heads held high with Jet pride! Next stop, the county championship game Wednesday, 1pm against Massapequa.

The Fashion Class had the wonderful opportunity to experience campus life and a college-level class at Long Island University.




Students Callia Chung, Thomas Primrose, Arianna Rosa and Michael Pettito were chosen to represent EMHS at this year’s Section 8 Unity, Civility and Sportsmanship conference. They spent the day with other student athletes from Nassau County learning about how to be the best athletes they can be both on and off the field.



The Journalism and Creative Writing classes toured the gorgeous Bronx Zoo on Wednesday, October 30! The students were able to write stories based on their experience.

Today students in Photo class went to the Fire Island Lighthouse to photograph all nature had to offer. The students photographed the ocean and bay views, the light house, and even saw some wildlife.




East Meadow High School hosts Safe Halloween. It was a great afternoon for both our students who participated and for the elementary children who visited. Thank you to everyone who donated time and candy to help make this event the best ever.

It was a great way to end the season for the JV cheer team, when they placed first at their final competition at Freeport high school. After coming in third and second the two competitions before, they were determined to get that first place win! Great job ladies!


Congratulations to the varsity field hockey team on their senior day win against Long Beach, 6 - 0 with goals scored by Lila Kies, Gabriella Shepherd, and Gianna Ventura. The team now has a record of 12-1 rolling into their last game of the season on Thursday.
