Grade 5 Quest students ventured to the Dolan DNA Learning Center where they analyzed fur samples to ascertain where they came from. 💛💙

After seeing San Jose Taiko Drumming at the Tilles Center, 3rd grade students met with their teaching artist, Oya, to learn about collaboration and communication through music and body language! 🎶🥁@emeadowschools





Meadowbrook's second grade classes visited The Long Island Museum. They learned all about Westward Expansion and traveling on the Oregon Trail. 😊👍🏻👍🏻😊 @emeadowschools





5th Grade students ended their CKLA Poetry Unit by hosting a "Poetry Open Mic!" Students created poems based on diverse poetic forms. Each poet sat on a stool on stage and recited their poetry book. The poets loved the audience's snaps of appreciation! 🫰💙💛 @emeadowschools





As part of the 1st Grade CKLA unit, students learned about what a geyser is. They did an experiment with Diet Coke and Mentos to demonstrate what this would look like up close. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as they chanted from the sidelines. @emeadowschools 💙💛
