Thanks to our school counselors for reminding us that "Self Care is Sweet!" Tomorrow, celebrate our Blizzard of Generosity by donating a new and unwrapped toy to the John Theissen toy drive. And remember - it's pajama day!!





Students kicked off Winter Spirit Week by writing personal goals related to Caring and Responsibility. We have been practicing these character traits throughout November and December. Tomorrow, remember that "Self Care is Sweet" - dress like a candy cane in red and white or stripes!

Thanks to EMHS students from the Athletes Helping Athletes program - our Woodland students were so excited to learn from you during their PE classes this week!





Shout out to our amazing sixth-grade students for welcoming me as their guest science teacher today in Ms. Wong's class! Science rules and so do safety goggles!!🥽 🧪




Woodland 7th graders "got on board" for the Combat Hate: Social Media Literacy workshop. Students explored aspects of social media, how to stay positive online, and discussed ways to curate their digital footprint.










In keeping with the spirit of generosity, Yorker's Club members participated in the November Food Drive and collected over 200 items for East Meadow families in need. The drive is still going - every item helps!!




We are excited to kick off our annual John Thiessen Holiday Toy Drive! This morning, we were fortunate to have John here to speak with our 6th grade students about his journey and his organization. Last year 130,000 toys were distributed. No donation is too small!
