Woodland also proudly hosted its annual Science Fair this April for our eighth grade Science Research students. Students had the opportunity to present their projects to our sixth grade students and their teachers, sharing their knowledge, hard work, and enthusiasm for science. It was a wonderful day filled with curiosity and excitement, as our eighth graders inspired the next generation of researchers. The experience celebrated their accomplishments and also sparked interest in our future sixth grade science students.
Our Eighth Science Research students proudly participated in multiple science fairs this spring, including the Long Island Science Congress, the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair, and SAAWA. Throughout these experiences, students proudly showcased their original research alongside peers from across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. These events provided meaningful opportunities to present their work, engage with fellow young scientists, and celebrate their hard work, curiosity, and growth in scientific inquiry.
