
During Multicultural Week, students were treated to an exciting Chinese Acrobat Assembly! The performer wowed the crowd with her amazing talents while giving students a glimpse into the rich traditions of Chinese culture.










As part of Multicultural Week, students proudly wore clothing representing their cultures! It was a wonderful celebration of the diverse backgrounds that make our school community so special.











First graders were excited to welcome their VIPs and share all they’ve learned about habitats! They sang a special song, showed off their creative dioramas, and proudly talked about the animals and environments they studied. Thank you to all our VIPs!











Second graders proudly shared their immigration projects with their VIPs! It was a meaningful way to showcase their learning and honor the journeys that make each of our families unique. Thank you to all who joined us!







Third, fourth, and fifth graders had a blast celebrating VIP Day! They shared their amazing projects, played games, and enjoyed quality time with their special guests. A big thank you to all the VIPs who came to support and celebrate with us!











Kindergarten had a blast celebrating VIP Day! 🐞 Students proudly shared everything they’ve learned about ladybugs with their special guests through songs, art, and facts. It was a sweet and memorable way to showcase their learning!







Our talented student musicians shined at the Spring Daytime Concert! The Advanced Band, Advanced Orchestra, Jazz Band, and Chorus performed for an audience of students and staff, filling the room with music and excitement. Bravo to all of our performers!











Our Bee Green Club got their hands dirty planting in the courtyard! Students worked together to add new life to our outdoor space and take action to help the environment.





Kindergarten students celebrated Kindness Day by wearing yellow and spreading joy throughout the school! 💛 They also drew heartwarming pictures and messages on paper lining the hallways, filling Parkway with kindness and cheer.











Our 4th graders have been busy learning all about the life cycle of chickens by raising chicks in their classrooms! From eggs to hatchlings, students have observed each stage of development and cared for the chicks as they grew. It’s been an egg-citing hands-on experience!

Thank you to our amazing PTA for treating our staff to a festive “Nacho Average Teacher” lunch in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week! With delicious Mexican-themed food and thoughtful details, it was the perfect way to show gratitude for all that our educators do!








We are so proud of Ms. Dunn, Ms. Izzo, and Ms. Wylie for being honored with the Lifelong Impact Award! This special recognition comes from East Meadow High School students who nominated them for making a meaningful difference in their lives—academically, socially, or emotionally. What a powerful reminder of the lasting impact our educators have!





Our Quest students had a fantastic visit to Old Westbury Gardens! They explored the beautiful grounds while learning about the many natural cycles that take place in the environment.

First graders celebrated the end of their fairy tale unit with a magical Royal Ball! Students dressed up and enjoyed a day filled with fairy tale fun to mark the end of their learning.











Students in grades 2–5 attended a powerful assembly with award-winning author Amy McCoy, who shared her book Little Big Sister and explored themes of disability understanding, acceptance, and inclusion. Through her engaging presentation, students gained a deeper awareness of peers with disabilities—including autism—and learned how writers turn their ideas into impactful stories. Inspired by Amy’s message, our students left ready to make a positive difference in their school and community!






In celebration of Autism Acceptance Week, students rocked their wildest hairstyles for Crazy Hair Day! With the theme “Acceptance Makes Our World Beautiful,” this fun and colorful day reminded us that our differences are what make us shine.










As part of Autism Acceptance Week, students wore yellow to promote kindness and to show love and support for our friend Ricky. The halls were filled with sunshine as students and staff came together to celebrate inclusion and friendship. #ShineBrightLikeRicky
