The Parkway Games brought lots of fun and laughter this morning as staff competed in festive holiday games. It was a great way to kick off the day and spread some holiday cheer throughout the school!










Our annual Holiday Sing-Along brought the whole school together for a joyful celebration of music. Led by the chorus, students and staff filled the room with holiday songs and smiles. It was a fun and festive way to celebrate the season together.










We were thrilled to welcome the East Meadow High School Chamber Orchestra and Choir for a special holiday visit. Students enjoyed beautiful seasonal music, and the choir even caroled through the halls, spreading festive cheer throughout the school. What a wonderful way to celebrate the season!








Our art classes with Ms. Baer have been bursting with creativity across all grade levels. Students have been exploring materials, trying new techniques, and expressing themselves through so many unique projects. We love seeing their imagination come to life in the art room!
Our fourth and fifth graders put on a wonderful daytime Winter Concert today, featuring performances from our Advanced Band, Advanced Orchestra, and Chorus. Their talent and hard work shined on stage. We are so proud of them and can’t wait for them to share their music again at tonight’s evening performance.









Our third graders in Mrs. Buchanan's class are diving into Unit 2 of Science 21 by analyzing fossils and making detailed observations and predictions. They’re thinking like real scientists as they explore what fossils can teach us about the past.







Our third graders held their own Thanksgiving Day Parade after completing their CKLA unit on animals. Students designed and built creative floats using all kinds of materials, each one featuring a vertebrate they studied. Such an impressive combination of science, creativity, and hands-on fun!








In computer class, our fifth graders used Google Slides to create their own stop-motion Thanksgiving Day Parade. They planned their scenes, moved their characters frame by frame, and brought their creativity to life through animation




Mr. Chiappone’s class explored the Middle Ages by designing and building their own cardboard castles. Students learned about castle features and worked together to bring their ideas to life.




Our students had a magical time celebrating Disney Day. The halls were filled with favorite characters, big smiles, and lots of school spirit!

Here is a look at Oscar walking into his classroom and being celebrated by his classmates after winning our GOAT sticker contest. We love seeing our students lift each other up and cheer on their friends. Congrats again, Oscar!

Congratulations to Oscar in fifth grade for winning our GOAT sticker contest. Students created their own GOAT-themed designs, and Oscar’s artwork was chosen to be turned into an official sticker. We are so proud of Oscar and all of our talented finalists!




Since early October, students have been training in Physical Education for the annual Parkway Turkey Trot. They have learned about pacing, endurance, and what it means to train for an event, gradually increasing their jogging time each week. On November 13, students put their hard work to the test, running laps around the Parkway track while donating non-perishable items for our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Thank you to our PTA for helping make this wonderful event possible.










A big thank-you to our amazing custodial team for giving our basketball court a fresh new look! It looks fantastic, and we can’t wait to see our students enjoying it!

Thank you to Town of Hempstead Supervisor John Ferretti for installing the new solar stop signs at the corner of Bellmore Road. Your commitment to improving safety in our community is truly appreciated. These new signs will go a long way to help protect our students and ensure a safer environment for everyone.

Our K–2 students had a blast at Halloween Fun Night! A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for organizing such a great event and making the night so special for our students!
