
Halloween Spirit Week was full of fun and creativity! Students showed off their school spirit by dressing up as Monsters, Inc. characters, rocking crazy hair, and wearing witches' and wizards' hats. A magical way to celebrate the spooky season together!









Our 3rd-5th graders had a fang-tastic time at the Halloween dance! From spooky costumes to great music and fun with friends, it was a night to remember. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a spooktacular event!





Last week, we celebrated Red Ribbon Week by learning about making healthy choices and staying drug-free! Our students showed their commitment by wearing red and participating in activities that promote a healthy lifestyle.





A huge thank you to the Parkway PTA for putting on an amazing Fall Festival! Our students and families had a fantastic time with all the fun games, treats, and activities. We appreciate all your hard work to make this event so special!

Our third graders celebrated the end of their Classic Tales unit with a delightful tea party! They explored rich language, memorable characters, and themes like friendship and responsibility, while learning about plot, setting, and literary tools. A magical way to bring these timeless stories to life!










Our first graders turned their classroom into a 'Human Body Hospital' to celebrate their learning after finishing their unit on the human body! They had so much fun showing off everything they learned about how our amazing bodies work!











Our K-2 Halloween party was a spooktacular success! From creative costumes to fun games and treats, our little ones had a blast celebrating together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special!










Red Ribbon Week

Ms. Kolsky's 4th graders stepped into a cozy Writing Café to work on their personal narratives! The classroom transformation made writing feel extra special, with students enjoying a relaxed, creative atmosphere to bring their stories to life.







Yesterday, our students and staff wore orange to stand together against bullying for Unity Day! 🧡 In computer class, students created digital posters with positive messages to spread kindness and unity.









Our kindergarteners are getting tech-savvy! I had so much fun introducing them to their Chromebooks and showing them how to use their new learning tools. Excited to see their digital skills grow this year!





Thank you to our amazing PTA for hosting a fantastic Scholastic Book Fair! Our students had a great time exploring new books and discovering their next favorite reads!







We recently welcomed the Wantagh Fire Department for an engaging Fire Prevention Assembly! Our students had the opportunity to see the firefighters demonstrate the use of their equipment and learn about fire safety firsthand. One of the highlights was when students entered a "smoke house," where they practiced important safety steps in case of a fire.










Our second graders had a blast celebrating the end of their Tall Tales unit! They went 'fishing' for vocabulary words, built structures with cups, lassoed a tornado like Pecos Bill, and did a fun directed drawing of Paul Bunyan. What a creative way to wrap up the unit!







Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day to our amazing team! Today we celebrate and thank our custodians for all they do to keep our school clean, safe, and running smoothly. We appreciate your hard work and dedication every day!





Mrs. Poole and Mrs. Acquista's second graders are sharpening their critical thinking skills by using Venn diagrams to compare and contrast characters from the tall tales John Henry and Casey Jones! Great job analyzing these legendary stories!





Mrs. Uhl's 4th graders are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in music class with a fun dance to La Raspa! They started by listening and learning about the music before jumping into the dance. What a great way to honor culture and movement!




Mr. Chiappone's 4th graders start the day with a positive morning meeting! It’s a great way to build community, share thoughts, and set the tone for a successful day ahead.


Fourth grade students in Ms. Kolsky's class are excited to share their beautifully decorated writing notebooks with their classmates! Each notebook is as unique as the stories they’ll fill them with.
