Ms. Kolsky's 4th graders stepped into a cozy Writing Café to work on their personal narratives! The classroom transformation made writing feel extra special, with students enjoying a relaxed, creative atmosphere to bring their stories to life.

Yesterday, our students and staff wore orange to stand together against bullying for Unity Day! 🧡 In computer class, students created digital posters with positive messages to spread kindness and unity.

Our kindergarteners are getting tech-savvy! I had so much fun introducing them to their Chromebooks and showing them how to use their new learning tools. Excited to see their digital skills grow this year!

Thank you to our amazing PTA for hosting a fantastic Scholastic Book Fair! Our students had a great time exploring new books and discovering their next favorite reads!

We recently welcomed the Wantagh Fire Department for an engaging Fire Prevention Assembly! Our students had the opportunity to see the firefighters demonstrate the use of their equipment and learn about fire safety firsthand. One of the highlights was when students entered a "smoke house," where they practiced important safety steps in case of a fire.

Our second graders had a blast celebrating the end of their Tall Tales unit! They went 'fishing' for vocabulary words, built structures with cups, lassoed a tornado like Pecos Bill, and did a fun directed drawing of Paul Bunyan. What a creative way to wrap up the unit!

Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day to our amazing team! Today we celebrate and thank our custodians for all they do to keep our school clean, safe, and running smoothly. We appreciate your hard work and dedication every day!
Mrs. Poole and Mrs. Acquista's second graders are sharpening their critical thinking skills by using Venn diagrams to compare and contrast characters from the tall tales John Henry and Casey Jones! Great job analyzing these legendary stories!

Mrs. Uhl's 4th graders are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in music class with a fun dance to La Raspa! They started by listening and learning about the music before jumping into the dance. What a great way to honor culture and movement!
Mr. Chiappone's 4th graders start the day with a positive morning meeting! It’s a great way to build community, share thoughts, and set the tone for a successful day ahead.

Fourth grade students in Ms. Kolsky's class are excited to share their beautifully decorated writing notebooks with their classmates! Each notebook is as unique as the stories they’ll fill them with.

Our kindergarteners kicked off the school year with a sweet start at the Ice Cream Social! It was a fun-filled night of smiles, new friends, and tasty treats as we got to know each other.

Mrs. Mancuso's first graders are diving into phonics! They're learning new sounds and building strong reading foundations one letter at a time. Great job, future readers!

Mrs. Molloy's first graders are mastering patterns in math! They're hard at work finding the missing numbers and building their problem-solving skills. Keep up the great work, mathematicians!

Ms. Blanc's first graders had a fun and creative day reading A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing! After the story, they used white pom-poms to disguise their own 'wolves.' Such imaginative work from our little readers!

Reminder for families: This year, all students can enjoy free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a federal program administered by the state. No forms or sign-ups required—just healthy meals to fuel our students' success!

Our 3rd graders in Mr. Romanotto's PE class are having a blast practicing teamwork with group juggling! They're sharpening their throwing and catching skills while working together.

Today, we honor the bravery and resilience of those impacted by 9/11. Our students wore red, white, and blue to commemorate Patriot Day and reflect on the importance of unity and compassion.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us for Meet the Teacher Night! It was wonderful connecting with you and sharing our plans for an exciting school year. Together, we’ll make this year a great success!
