As we finish out National Bullying Prevention Month, a big thank you to Builders Club and our students for working together to show we are always stronger as a community. We will continue to build community long after this month is over!

Students in Mr. Brenner’s and Mrs. Dervisi’s honors classes had a wonderful visit to the East Meadow Public Library. Students spent the morning researching their topics for their National History Day projects.

Sixth-grade scientists in action! ⚾🎾 Using scientific tools, students explored volume and mass to uncover which is denser — a baseball or a tennis ball. The results might surprise you!




Our PTA Pretzel Sale always brings smiles (and delicious smells) to the halls! 🥨 Students loved purchasing their favorite snack. Stay tuned for the next pretzel day!







Students in Ms. Boettcher’s and Mr. Kovlers Honors Social Studies classes visited the East Meadow Public Library to research their topics for National History Day research projects.




Woodland finished up UNITY Spirit Week with Team Building challenges in the cafeteria during lunch periods. Thanks to Ms. Boettcher and 8th grade teachers for setting up this fun time which encouraged working together, thinking outside the box, and collaboration!










Our science students put their engineering skills to the test—designing and building houses that could stand up to hurricane-force winds! They brainstormed, designed, built, tested, and made improvements based on their results. There was lots of excitement as the “storms” rolled in! 🌬️⚡️
